On the morning of May 24, 2022, Jiang Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Pengzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, Yan Ganhai, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, led a delegation of main responsible persons from the Petrochemical Park Management Committee, Municipal Government Office, Municipal Development and Reform Bureau, Municipal Bureau of Economy, Science, Technology and Information Technology, Pengzhou Ecological Environment Bureau, Municipal Emergency Bureau, Municipal Government Development Research Center and other units to visit Chengdu Tianshun Poly to conduct on-site research on the implementation of the first phase of the 2500 tons/year new heterocyclic high-performance engineering plastic project. Zheng Wenquan, General Manager of Tianshun Poly, and other relevant department heads warmly welcomed and accompanied the research.

After arriving at the project construction site, Mayor Jiang and his delegation listened carefully to the report of General Manager Zheng Wenquan on the progress of the project construction, and gained a detailed understanding of the project construction period, trial production and operation preparation. They also coordinated on-site to solve the difficulties and problems encountered during the project construction process. He emphasized that the 2500 tons/year new heterocyclic high-performance engineering plastics project, as a national key scientific and technological research achievement transformation project, has internationally leading comprehensive product performance and can be widely applied in important fields of national economy and people's livelihood. It is of great significance for cultivating special engineering plastics with independent intellectual property rights, accelerating the technological update and product upgrading of China's polymer materials industry.

Mayor Jiang requested that all levels and departments strengthen communication and coordination, proactively provide advanced services, increase targeted relief and assistance efforts, improve infrastructure and production supporting construction such as sewage treatment and steam pipelines in the park as soon as possible, and promote the early landing, construction, and production of major industrial projects; Relevant departments and construction, supervision and other units should enhance their sense of responsibility and urgency in their work while ensuring construction safety and epidemic prevention and control. They should closely focus on target tasks, time nodes, concentrate efforts to accelerate progress, and ensure that project construction tasks are completed with high standards, high quality, and high efficiency as scheduled.
