General Secretary Xi pointed out: The Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Chinese people have solemnly declared to the world through their heroic and tenacious struggle that the Chinese people have stood up, and the era in which the Chinese nation was subject to arbitrary exploitation and bullying is gone forever. The Chinese people are not only adept at destroying the old world, but also at building a new one. Only socialism can save China, and only socialism can develop China. Reform and opening up is a crucial move that determines the future and destiny of contemporary China, and China has made great strides to catch up with the times. The Chinese nation has ushered in a great leap from standing up, becoming prosperous, to becoming strong, realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and entering an irreversible historical process.

General Secretary Xi pointed out: One hundred years ago, the pioneers of the Chinese Communist Party founded the CPC, shaping the great founding spirit of adhering to the truth, steadfastly pursuing ideals, fulfilling the original aspiration, shouldering the mission, fearing no sacrifice, bravely fighting, being loyal to the Party, and not disappointing the people. This is the spiritual source of the CPC.

General Secretary Xi pointed out: We must learn from history and forge ahead into the future. We must uphold the firm leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), unite and lead the Chinese people in their relentless pursuit of a better life, promote the sinicization of Marxism, adhere to and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics, accelerate the modernization of national defense and the military, continuously promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind, engage in great struggles with many new historical characteristics, strengthen the great unity of the Chinese people, and continuously advance the new great project of Party building.
