Zheng Wenquan, General Manager of Chengdu Tianshun Poly New Material Co., Ltd., provided a detailed explanation of the important scientific research and transformation achievements of Academician Jian Xigao - the poly(phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone) (PPESK) series products. He emphasized the high wear resistance, excellent heat resistance, mechanical properties, and good electrical insulation properties of the PPESK series products, and provided a detailed analysis of their wide applications in high-tech fields and civilian sectors, such as aerospace, precision machinery, high-speed rail, electronics and electrical appliances, automotive, and other industries after industrialization.

The official commissioning of the 500-ton/year poly(phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone) (PPESK) production facility of Chengdu Tianshun Poly New Material Co., Ltd. has achieved self-sufficiency in product supply for China's PPESK industry. Currently, the development and application of new materials constitute one of the important industrial foundations for China to transition from a manufacturing giant to a manufacturing powerhouse. High-performance engineering plastics, as an important component of the chemical polymer new materials sector, have been listed as a high-tech industry for key support and development by the national and local governments. The new materials industry faces a vast market space, so poly(phthalazinone ether sulfone ketone) (PPESK), as one of the polymer materials varieties, has great market potential in the future.
