To thoroughly implement the national theme of the "Fire Safety Publicity Month" - "Fire Prevention for All, Life First - Safe Use of Electricity and Fire", further enhance the fire safety awareness of all employees, and improve their practical emergency response capabilities, on November 20th, the company organized a special training session on fire safety in chemical enterprises and an emergency drill for fire accidents in the office building. Leaders of Luzhou Development Guoxing Investment Co., Ltd. and cadres and staff from various departments of the company participated in this event.

This training specially invited Peng Diechao, a national first-level fire engineer, national first-level construction engineer, national registered safety engineer, and Sichuan provincial safety training expert, to give lectures in person. The training closely focused on the safety characteristics of the chemical industry and was centered around four modules: "The Necessity of Fire Safety Training", "Basic Knowledge of Fire Safety", "Key Points of Fire Prevention in Autumn and Winter", and "Practical Operation of Enterprise Fire Safety Management". The lecturer, combining typical fire accident cases in the domestic chemical industry in recent years, profoundly analyzed the safety hazards and prevention difficulties in eight high-risk areas such as hot work, electrical explosion prevention, and static electricity prevention and control. Based on the actual production and operation of the company, he proposed targeted preventive measures, emphasizing the fire prevention policy of "prevention first, combining prevention and firefighting", effectively strengthening the safety responsibility awareness and risk prevention and control ability of the trainees.

After the training, the company immediately organized an emergency drill for a fire in the office building. This drill simulated a fire caused by an electrical fault in the third-floor office, focusing on testing the scientific nature of the emergency plan, the timeliness of emergency response, and the collaborative handling capabilities of various departments. During the drill, each emergency response team quickly carried out fire alarm reporting, personnel evacuation, and initial fire suppression according to the division of responsibilities in the plan. The entire process was tense yet orderly, with smooth transitions. Zheng Wenquan, the general manager of the company, and Yang Dewen, the deputy general manager, commanded the drill throughout and conducted a post-drill review and evaluation of its effectiveness. This drill basically achieved its intended goals, but there were still shortcomings in terms of emergency response speed, cross-departmental collaboration, and standardization of practical actions, exposing weak links in the emergency mechanism. In response to the identified issues, the company's leaders deployed rectification work on the spot, requiring the responsible departments to optimize and improve the emergency plan based on actual conditions, strengthen collaborative training among various emergency response teams, eliminate the "bystander mentality" during drills, and effectively enhance the team's practical handling capabilities.
